Herd immunity(HI) a big ask but we can do it. Countries targeting HI as % of total population= Israel 66%, Singapore 75%, NZ 78%, China 70-80%. We should target minimum 67% total pop, preferably 80% (for Delta). HI includes 12-18years & should target 100% vaccination of 60+years.

99% of all deaths are above 50 years. The remaining 1% below 50 almost all have significant morbidities/immunodeficiencies. Young healthy people are not at risk.(scandinavian data). Set a date when every adult has had an opportunity to have a vaccine(or not) and then open up.
Kids need vaccination as a priority, also - and booster shots need to be a thing within 6 months especially for immune compromised individuals. Really the modelling is saying 75-80% Vax minimum including kids. Will we see this modelling transparently shared by GOV? Hmm 🤔

The World could have eliminated it, but we let Pollies dictate the health policy settings & responses rather than experts! The numerous variants emerging over the next 18months will eventually make Vaccines almost useless & we'll be back to where we were in Feb 2020! Square one!

There’s a significant no. of older Australians wanting vaccination, but their doctors have advised against AstraZeneca due to specific, underlying medical conditions. These people are denied a vaccine recommended by their own doctors. It’s unrelenting stress.
And all this for a virus that only kills 1% of patients anyway. Plus we want to vaccinate people who have already had covid19. What next? How about we vaccinate unborn children inside the womb? And new born babies as well? Just to be on the SAFE side.

Brilliant thanks.

You need to talk to Gladys! Her plan doesn’t involve the kids getting vaccinated.....it’s petrifying 😩

Israel has 300 cases of Covid reported every day. Put into perspective, Israel's population is 9 million, about 1 and 1/2 Sydneys. Remember they use Pfizer and have a very high vaccination rate. Most cases are Delta, 42% are in vaccinated people. abc.net.au/news/2021-07-03/d…
