Gov plan must include rapid flexible response to COVID not 'live with it'. More detail required eg vaccination %. Need better transparency (modelling, remove 'cabinet in confidence'), apolitical communication, purpose-built quarantine, home quarantine protocol inc. home test kit.

If we ever want to open up we are going to have to accept that it’ll be in the community, just gotta have 80-90% vaccinated Just look at the UK fully open yet 26k cases yesterday, elimination isn’t possible and it’s about time we stop pretending that it is

Australia is following the UK example and is throwing in the towel. The only way a decent level of vaccination will be achieved is with a Labor government. Australia will still be in the pandemic when the next election takes place. It will be around for another decade at least.
