Outbreak management needs to be balanced against other health, social and economic concerns. Proportionality is key. Sadly, we've handed over way too much power to public health officials who can't see things beyond their immediate brief.

Brad Hazzard was very clear on ABC Sydney; his current medical advice is that a lockdown is unnecessary. The ONLY possible interpretation is that advice has come from Dr Chant. The proven rule with a lockdown is "go hard, go early". Chant advised we're not there yet.🤞
