Great that vaccination rate is increasing. However we still need to reach 150,000 injections/day every day to vaccinate everyone by Dec 31. Pfizer now has FDA Emergency Use Authorization for 11-15 years. This group are vulnerable to variants but should be vaccinated after adults.

I will be fully vaccinated tomorrow with AZ. If determined all can be vaccinated this year. What we are seeing in other countries is that passing 60% is hard due to hesitancy. Can you see Australia exceeding 60% in next 13-18 maths?? I can't right now.💉💉🤕💉🏥

I was hoping my 17 yr old could get the vaccine earlier. She’s an ex 24 weeker and had chronic lungs disease.
Before we jump in vaccinating kids, we need to seriously consider benefit & risk: “Israeli Ministry of Health conclude that between 1 in 3000 & 1 in 6000 men ages 16 to 24 who received the Pfizer vaccine developed the rare heart inflammation condition” sciencemag.org/news/2021/06/…

Well if your going to quote the FDA for this how about you also report that the FDA will NOT approve AstraZeneca! Why on earth would you promote this for over 50’s in Australia? We won’t be protected until the older generation is given access to Pfizer not having AZ!#PfizerForAll

Meanwhile my 45yo pt with aggressive anaplastic lymphoma took her oncologist's letter requesting urgent Pfizer vax to a hub in Melb & was turned away 4wks ago. Now started chemo, unvaccinated, immunosuppressed. Insane.

My parents both had clots causing heart surgery; dad wore compression stocking on flights and long drives. I am over 50 and concerned hereditary; and AZ may be wrong for me. Also doing 2 weeks in NT, AZ won’t have me fully vaccinated in time… thoughts?
