Excuse me. Nope, no pfizer for them. They get the dodgy Astra one. Lockdown changes the math down there. Even I would take Astra with lockdown 5 on the horizon.

Since older people have a higher risk of Covid mortality, why are they being forced to have Astra Zeneca, (which takes months between doses to achieve 60% efficacy vs Pfizer), which takes only two weeks for 88% efficacy against the Indian variant?

Does giving them Pfizer mean they do not catch covid or pass it on? If not, then why would they be next priority. Think arrivals need to be vaccinated before they are repatriated, ahead of 20 year olds

Great news! Let鈥檚 hope there is a plan to go back to vaccinate new residents too as there is a lot of turnover in residential aged care and current plans seem to involve 2 visits only.
