Quarantine is not 99.9% effective. 21,000 cases (70% of total cases) since border closure on 20 March '20 are directly & indirectly due to quarantine breaches & exemptions. Purpose-built quarantine facilities with rapid antigen testing on arrival & day-14 are required.

Absolutely, this is not difficult to anticipate..and we have all sort of government experts and PM and Health Minister who bags million of dollars of tax payers money, for their salaries and pension. They are not giving Australians a good deal in return

Being vaccinated is required. Vaccination centres should be operating 24/7.
Occupational Hygienists have been screaming this out for over 12 mths.

This makes no sense at all. You do understand that hotel quarantine doesn’t exist in isolation from other actions?

What is the advantage of rapid antigen testing over rtPCR? I thought the latter had greater sensitivity early in infection and thus was the good standard.

The cost of building quarantine facilities is considerably less than the cost of not building them. #auspol

Even if it was, 99.9 isn't good if people understood probability distributions. Keep up the good work - we need an expert with a calm voice, not a ranting PM.

That's 12 Howard Springs to build in no time to bring in what we currently accommodate a week in Aus. A Q facility in Vic and Qld would have be on top if their current HQ or are both states proposing a cut in numbers agsin?
