Mass vaccination sites are urgently needed. Current av. rate after last 6 weeks is just 22,000 doses/day. I calculate to have 85% population vaccinated by end of year we need 133,000/day every day from tomorrow to Dec 31 plus 70,000/day every day from Jan 1-Mar 31 2022.

We don't have sufficient vaccine supply. There is plenty of capacity to administer but not enough supply. It would also help if we hadn't relied so much on AZ and obtained other vaccines.

I never thought I’d envy the USA re their covid response, but here we are. Multiple vaccines available for their citizens, and the Pfizer seems to show good results against variants?
More good news. Pfizer has the six month update. *Zero* hospitalizations among the vaccinated vs. 32 among the placebo group (n=46,307). Also real life data from South Africa, where B.1.351 is dominant: zero cases of COVID among the vaccinated vs. nine in the placebo (n=800).

Agree. Perhaps our PM @ScottMorrisonMP may be in more of a hurry, had he not received both does of the vaccination. I can’t imagine what the delay is 🤬

We also should have a choice of which vaccine. I know that the chance of a blood clot is low compared to dying of covid but better than nothing is really not good enough... especially if you are the one that gets the blood clot ..

C’wealth announced significantly more GPs to receive vaccines, but failed to say how many doses. Currently a # of GPs receive as few as 50 doses/week & Vax hubs in Melb & Geelong severely under-utilised. What’s the reason behind this haphazard approach? Something’s amiss.

Call me cynical, but I wonder if the slow roll out of vaccines is to deliberately move the focus away from the sex scandals. We can focus on both topics quite easily.

Irrelevant in my opinion. Vaccinating with Astra Zeneca is not going to change lives. Speak up for what is really needed. You know we need Pfizer, stop the AZ propaganda. Do the right thing for all Australians.

Greg Hunt said many months ago that the CSL facility could easily be adapted to produce the Novavax...so why hasn't this been done??

NOVAVAX where are you??? Why hasn't the Federal Government followed through with their statement that the CSL site in Melbourne can be adapted to produce it?? They've had over 6 months to do so in preparation.
