Mass vaccination sites are urgently needed. Current av. rate after last 6 weeks is just 22,000 doses/day. I calculate to have 85% population vaccinated by end of year we need 133,000/day every day from tomorrow to Dec 31 plus 70,000/day every day from Jan 1-Mar 31 2022.

The interactive maps show rollout is happening through Medical Centres, often located in lower density wealthier parts of Sydney and Melbourne. Western Sydney (penrith) and Wyndham were density is high have less access to vaccines per inhabitant.

Can you share some facts on the blood clotting caused by AZ What is it called? Is it curable? What is the prognosis? Corona Virus isn't currently out of control in my state and has never been. Help convince me why I should get the subpar AZ while other countries ban it?

It will be possible only if this is approached like an industry problem- first increase supply which means acquiring 3-4 available vaccines from different sources (not only CSL)and then industry managers, economists, logistics and utilising all possible resources for delivery

It's not rocket science to see that, with enough vaccine, a speedier program could be had by setting up mass vaccination centres capable of high throughput. Does no-one in our stooge fed govt have any organisational skills? All form & no substance.

Not only urgently needed, but publicised. Rules for GP take-up are understandably strict (waiting room space etc) so many will decide not to be involved & anyway opening hours are mostly limited (esp. nights, weekends) and not all people have GPs.

I don鈥檛 want the crappy AZ that has links to blood clots and doesn鈥檛 work against at least 2 of the most dangerous variants of the virus. We need the Pfizer or Moderna and should all be getting it! #ScottytheQueueJumper #ScottyFromPhotoOps #wheresthevaccine

Is the vaccine roll-out slower than announced a few months ago because it is now understood that the Astra Zeneca vaccine won鈥檛 be effective protection against new strains of the virus to which we will be exposed in the near future and other, modified, vaccines will be required ?
