I calculated, graphed, if vaccines can produce herd immunity (HI) & Pfizer needs 75% population coverage (85% for UK variant) AZ needs 100%. Pfizer+AZ planned combination needs 90% coverage. Get vaccinated please. But how do we protect if we don't get 90% coverage?

It's ok, even if we don't get enough ppl vaccinated, #netflix will keep everyone entertained so they won't have to think abt the global economy tanking. But then again, they will run out of money for their subscriptions. So ...

Training video on how to get seven (7) doses from each Pfizer Covid vaccine bottle (instead of only 5-6). Innovation by Sari Roos. Method approved by Pfizer. Video in Finnish language. You can ask @helsinginsote for an English version. #COVIDVaccination dreambroker.com/channel/fic9…

By not aiming for herd immunity, but for vaccinating the vulnerable and those who would clog up our healthcare system.

Thanks for the analysis. I guess the federal government should ensure and not “ask” people to get vaccinated. For the common good. The rhetoric must change.

Oh come on. Are we seriously still trying to argue that the whole population was green to a new coronavirus, that there was no pre-existing immunity.

This is my concern. I’m in my 60’s with chronic asthma, unlikely to be in line for a Pfizer vaccine. I’m grateful for any vaccine, but feel a little like a second class citizen by getting the AZ one.

Simple, why are we not using Ivermectin & HCQ in early stages. Problem solved. Not enough profit for Big Pharma? After all, its been proved since last year how effective they are.

I guess it is too much to ask for a better vaccine. Or maybe we can revitalise the QLD vaccine and just accept false HIV positive. I do recall it was 91% effective

Has anyone proposed CSL (or another agency) gear up for locally manufacturing another vaccine as well - esp a single dose version? Is that feasible?

@MarylouiseMcla1 If we get Astra Zeneca though, even at 90% coverage,it doesn’t allow us to travel abroad and doesn’t cover variants. Is this a correct understanding?
