Herd immunity is not the goal of current vaccines because 1) all levels infections not preventable 2) would need high efficacy for all level of infection & high pop coverage. Please get any vaccine to give better chance of protection from symptoms, possibly severe COVID & death.

The side affects of Astrazenica vaccine can make you feel quite sick. I had a friend in the UK who was part of the trial. She never gets sick. There doesn't seem to be any reason we are going with this vaccine other than the fact the government has ties to it and bought shares.

Why get any vaccine? Why not get the best available? Do you see a specialist when you need treatment/surgery etc? Why, why not just get a Gp to do it? If there is a choice between a 62% successful vaccine & a 90+% successful vaccine, why would you choose the least successful? 😷

Read this. Efficacy is not an IMDB movie rating. It’s specialised technical language. Not day-to-day usage. The AZ vaccine can be made here and easily transported. Pfizer requires -70C and supply is short. nytimes.com/2020/11/20/healt…

What we have seen all through this pandemic is that these select members of the Government’s advisory group are happy to accept a lower level of protection than the ordinary punter is. We want what we were promised by ScoMo- herd immunity and highest % of effective safe vaccine.

Hi Mary Louise, I trust your opinion, Ive Scleroderma, ILD, Lupus, Diabetes Type 2, Srojens Syndrome etc, many joint replacements. Take mycophenolate, hydroxychloroquine etc. Do you think its safe to have vaccine? Which one. Appreciate you guiding us all. Tks.

Any vaccine is better than none, but govt is dividing us into The Immune who will get Pfizer and The Vulnerable who who will get AstraZeneca.
