So surprised the Commonwealth has not stepped up to fulfil their constitutional responsibility for quarantine. With the emergence of UK high transmission #covid strain, we can’t afford errors. Need well resourced and trained staff and secure facilities.

You are so right but we first need the best available vaccines which are the most efficacious ie Pfizer &Moderna and which can quickly be adapted for the mutations in the spike protein that we are already seeing.We need more Pfizer &need to order Moderna urgently & not just astra

Can we get approval to get a 6th dose from the Pfizer vial like Denmark does with a smaller needle? Would go a long way if Oz has 10million doses so 2 million vials = another 2 million doses.

They haven't even started recruiting nurses yet. No advertising drive. If they want this to work, you'd think they would have the right people to drive the program. Nuh. No doubt it'll be last minute, like everything else.

I personally don't think that the federal government has a cohesive plan to roll out the vaccine. This worries me. These things take time, much longer than a couple of weeks.
