Vaccinating 80% of Australia in 8 months means 170,000 injections per day every day; 4 times the average daily number Covid tests (Apr-Dec). Our health system will struggle to vaccinate while fighting outbreaks unless quarantine flaws are strengthened before March.

Might be best to start worrying about it when we get the vaccines in numbers.
Greg Hunt said ALL Australians will be vaccinated by October 馃槼 1st Apr-30th Sep =183 days to deliver 2 doses of vaccine to the 25,499,884 people of Australia. (that's more than 170K per day!) I'm a Nurse Immuniser & we'll be flat out like lizards drinking & then some!

Better than doing nothing I guess?
..as you know doctor the first and only containment move you have against an airborne pathogen is to seal the doors.. ..why did this not happen one year ago..?? ..do you think the vatican is open for business..??

Trying to fix the problems with quarantine SOME states are having would require admitting that WA got something right, so it will never happen.
How is a vaccine a vaccine when it fails to stop infection or the transmission of infection? These 'new' vaccines are nothing more than glorified treatments. Reducing severity possibly. + far more expensive and with less knowledge of risk. Who sidelined HCQ & Ivermectin...?
The vaccine is not going to limit transmission.. Meanwhile thousands of Australians abandoned abroad are suffering financial stress and can not afford to return home, No Government assistance. Quarantine should be paid for by the Federal Government.
