Vic average changes remains in the negative (ie good decline in numbers, left axis) but NSW is now back in positive (ie increase in numbers) similar to early July. Next week is critical in NSW to see if another surge is coming; wear 😷 & continue good public health practices

Victoria's scale on that graph has graduations of 50 (the red scale on the left to match the red line), ten times that of the NSW scale (the blue scale on the right which is graduations of 5) These are not comparable situations.

To many Australians think they won’t get Covid and refuse to wear masks, while that attitude remains in the community then we have no chance of controlling Covid

You have to be kidding. You have a different x axis for nsw and vic. To skew the graphs. Talk about manipulating data .
This chart breaks every mathematical rule of presentation Shocking

Sorry Mary but that is the most stupid graph I've seen. Posting rubbish like this only gives ammo to the tin foil hat brigade.

Is NSW affected by having low numbers in general and that small spikes have a disproportionate affect on the RA? Hence the use of different scales. If you were to plot on the same axis and scale NSW wouldn't seem as bad. it would be oscillating around 0.

If a dodgy graph makes you feel better go for it Dean. Unfollowing at this point.
