It's been just 1 incubation period since universal mask use, too soon to see its full impact but the speed of transmission has slowed. Melbourne it will improve ❤️ Look outside aged care facilities for change in community spread.

Can I ask what the ratio is that you're calculating Mary-Louise?

A rolling CI is a ratio examining case totals, over a rolling 2x incubation period. It indicates whether the spread is slowing down.

Thank you, most encouraging. Could you please explain (for lay people like me) exactly what the red line is referring to?

Where can this data be found please? Is there a website that details the daily data over time? Thank you.

Surely, wearing masks will slow the spread of #CoronavirusOutbreak in the community but will not make much difference in aged care facilities as you cannot close aged care facilities nor hospitals so the spread is ON!!! #Coronavirus will always be around till a vaccine...SADLY!!
