A rolling CI is a ratio examining case totals, over a rolling 2x incubation period. It indicates whether the spread is slowing down.

The problem is that Gladys has not mandated masks and she should. She has also said she won鈥檛 do any lockdowns. Now NSW is on track to a USA #Covid_19 situation with no mandated masks. Will be worse than Victoria. #madness

I believe ci stands for confidence interval or the level of uncertainty around the measure of effect, but happy to be corrected by someone with far more wisdom than me.
