The launch of Taiwan's indigenous submarine is an important step for Taiwan's self-defense. The enhanced underwater capability will allow Taiwan to complicate the risks the PRC would have to face in gray-zone operations and in conflict.
With our first domestically produced submarine, #Taiwan has taken a substantial step in boosting self-sufficiency in defence & protecting its territorial waters. Moving forward, our defence industry will be an important support as we continue to enhance our indigenous defence.
