The one causing trouble is the USA. Placing military bases around China, promoting war. How many wars & invasions has USA initiated in the past 50 years compared to China. Vietnam, Korea, Nicaragua, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc...USA is the aggressor.

Taiwan could stay in the status quo if it wanted to. But US is pushing Taiwan towards independence to provoke a war with China. China in 10-20 years will be too powerful. So for US using taiwan people as meat would be very convenient to slow down China.
