PRC 中华人民共和国 is formed in 1949 after it usurped mainland 大陆 from ROC 中华民国 established in 1912. PRC is the separatist. A nation's (ROC) independence/sovereignty (since 1912) cannot be usurped REGARDLESS whether it grew bigger or shrunk smaller. It remains independent!
