Well said. Voice of 23M people on this beautiful and democratic island must be respected and taken into consideration. UN and world should take a strong stance With Taiwan.

Agree with you. At the same time Taiwan also should abstain from entertaining people like Nancy Pelosi, so that China wouldn't get provoked.

The people is one question, but the island is another.

Maybe all "Taiwanese" should vacate the Taiwan province territory and move to some other island and establish their government there? Just give back the land to whom you stole it from.

sovereignty over Formosa and the Pescadores has never been settled. That is because the Japanese peace treaty merely involves a renunciation by Japan of its right and title to these islands.

Taiwan is NOT YET a sovereign state because people on Taiwan have never exercise their right to self-determination to establish their own sovereign state.

the sovereignty of Taiwan n Penghu remains "undetermined" up 2 this day. The ROC still governs Taiwan n Penghu in its capacity as a post-war mandated administration. And the people of Taiwan n Penghu still hv the right 2 decide the future of the sovereignty of Taiwan n Penghu.

The San Francisco Peace treaty never specified a recipient, leaving it open so that Taiwanese could be the sovereigns under the UN’s rules of self-determination.
