Actually China got exactly what it wanted out of Pelosi’s visit- a chance to distract from its poor domestic performance (crumbling economy, draconian lockdowns etc) and unite people against a perceived common enemy. Pelosi’s visit was a gift to Xi!

Pelosi: wins publicity and distraction from insider trading scandal. China: wins by demonstrating ability to blockade Taiwan and close trade route for Japan and Korea, and owning first island chain. US: loses first island chain and credibility. Taiwan: total and absolute loser.

US has been using all its means to contain China for the past 40 years, China’s now 2nd worlds largest economy, soon 1st! US=failed. Using Taiwan is just one of those means, will still fail … just wait and see how China smartly uses it’s “ Art Of War”
