Let me stress once again: it's one thing to call Taiwan a province of China (even though it's not), but policing how others refer to Taiwan is an affront to freedom of speech. We have a shared responsibility to make sure that Chinese censorship has no place in democracies.
A Colorado high school asked to attend the U.N. Commission on the Status of Women. Before they could get approved by a committee—that China sits on—they had to change an old article on their site to say that Taiwan is a "Province of China.” A high school!
