The DPP govt. continues to deliver on our promises to stand up for the middle class. This month, we made several important legislative changes to Taiwan's House Tax Act. We raised tax rates on non-self-use properties and lowered tax rates for self-use housing.

When the DPP took office in 2016, Taiwan's long-term care system could only take care of 90 thousands people. Today, we are taking care of more than 483 thousands people. Making sure that elderly people have access to affordable quality care will continue to be top priority.

The DPP govt. continues to deliver the ambitious climate agenda that saves our planet & create good-paying jobs. Since 2016, we've installed 283 offshore wind turbines in the Taiwan Strait. Starting from 2024, we will begin collecting carbon fees from companies. This is progress.

Raising income has been a top priority for the Tsai government, that's why we've raised the minimum wage for 8 consecutive years. If elected, the Lai-Hsiao administration will build on this foundation to invest heavily in industries of the future & create more good-paying jobs.

即使中國片面取消ECFA優惠稅率，恢復為WTO最惠國稅率，並不代表不能出口，相關產品的稅率為1%-6.5%不等，絕大多數稅率為1%跟2％，經濟部已經與相關業者密切聯繫，在低碳化輔導、智慧化生產、分散市場拓銷以及鼓勵差異化商品研發等四大面向持續支持，後續視情況增加政策工具資源，加碼補助跟輔導。
