On October 1, China sent 38 warplanes to the vicinity of Taiwan - the largest daily incursions by PLAAF.
It's time like-minded countries stepped up to tackle China's growing security threat. One effective way to discourage these activities would be to conduct joint intercepts.

Today, I discussed w/ Defense Minister Chiu Kuo-cheng 邱國正 abt measures we're taking to make it more difficult for the PLA to enter & conduct operations in Taiwan's southwest air defense zone. We should continue to focus on capabilities such as naval surface-to-air missiles.
