More like the people that obtained the guns illegally are to blame. Guns dont kill by themselves they need a person to pull the trigger. The people pulling them, aren’t lawful gun owners, they’re buying from gangs and cartel. Lawful gun owners aren’t killing on the streets and they are purchasing through businesses legally with background checks (especially in Illinois). So can you agree on that? Why go after nra and put more restrictions on business? It hasn’t helped in Illinois. The obvious solution is to go after the gangs and cartel and illegal gun dealers that are supplying them to criminals. Loosen up in the American taxpayers that are law abiding so they have a chance to defend themselves against the unlawful. It’s not that complicated. If the 3 letter agencies would do their jobs properly.
