Yesterday, the House Judiciary Committee passed H.R. 6570, the Protect Liberty and End Warrantless Surveillance Act. The bill: -Reauthorizes FISA 702 with significant reforms. -Requires agencies to obtain a warrant before conducting a query of American citizens. -Increases transparency of the FISA court. -And holds bad actors accountable.

So it's pretty much the way it was before with nothing changing. If there is no arm of law enforcement to actually enforce the law and hold violators of this accountable then nothing really changes with what the bill is.
