Happening Now: Rep Barry Loudermilk says the depositions of the Jan 6th witnesses have all disappeared. When he sent a letter to Rep Bennie Thompson, who chaired the committee, he was notified that the tapes were not preserved because “I didn’t feel I had to preserve them.”
Someone should inform Rep Thomson that it is against the House rules to destroy any data or evidence in an investigation.
Will he actually be punished? Probably not. Democrats get away with whatever they want.
