Children born on US soil to foreign citizen parents, are not eligible to be the US president. Much confusion lies on this subject and we have got to get this straightened out or we are going to lose our Constitutional Republic due to foreign influences.
Foreign influence into the executive branch was what the founders of this country feared the most.
Article II, Section 1 Clause 5 reads:
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.
As you can see the constitution makes a legal distinction between being a citizen, and being a natural born citizen and the only time a citizen can be President is if they lived in the 18th or 19th centuries.
The 14th amendment states: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are CITIZENS of the United States and the State wherein they reside."
The citizenship clause of the 14th amendment was put there to give citizenship to the newly freed black slaves. Does anyone think those newly freed black slaves were to be considered natural born citizens and eligible to be president?
The factor that determines whether one is merely a 14th amendment citizen, or a US natural born citizen, is what was the legal ALLEGIANCE of the PARENTS, the instant the child was born.
Ohio Representative and author of the 14th Amendment, John Armor Bingham, stated: “I find no fault with the introductory clause, which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States, OF PARENTS NOT OWING ALLEGIANCE TO ANY FOREIGN SOVEREIGNTY, is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.
Here’s a quick hypothetical. If Osama bin Laden hadn’t been killed, and instead brought back to New York City to stand trial for his crimes, and his pregnant wife came to observe the trial, and gave birth to a child while she was here according to Kamala Harris, Nikki Haley and Vivek Ramaswamy, Osama’s new baby would be eligible to be president. You can replace Osama’s name with El Chapo it doesn’t matter because it’s pure insanity!
