First, I will state it up front. I am not a fan of Blinken. He is a "smooth talker" with far less "courage" than I care for. However, as an individual he is a good father and husband, and sticks to his personal principals and beliefs. As such, I can respect him as an individual but also feel that he is a bit too cowardly for a government official in that Position. You now know my personal opinion of Blinken.
That said, Blinken has been a personal friend and advisor of Biden for over 20 years. Having close, trusted friends in a campaign organization is normal. One does not need to "do politics" in order to advise someone. Lawyers, for example, are common in politician campaigns. An expert on foreign policy is clearly a vital role in a Presidential campaign.
So, Jordan is once again pushing a false narrative. Credibility, zero.
I am an old school Republican, a rationalist, and someone who believes in every American having equal rights, including the right to the truth about those in our government. And when I see the lies and false claims from any member of our government, I will continue to point them out no matter what "party" they claim to belong to.
I served, took the oath. That oath did not say Republican or Democrat. It said constitution, nation, and President. A nation is the people, not the land. You have the right to make your own choices, to have the truth, and to be free and equal to everyone else. And to be safe. I may be old and crippled now, but I can still uphold my oath.
