Jim Jordan and his "WOKE" agenda. Let me tell you some things.
Until less than a year ago, woke meant to awaken as far as I knew. The slang word was unknown to me. When I heard it being used in the slang form, I had to research what it actually meant. (Yes, I am old. When Jordan was watching boys get molested I had long since graduated with an MSNE and jointed the Navy and had reenlisted 3 times. I enlisted because I was nowhere near ready to be a leader. I was a loner. The Navy fixed that weakness in me.)
It turned out that "Woke" in slang form was a simple term for a normal cognitive function of the human brain. Recognition of something, in this case of discrimination. Neither good nor bad. It is the type of term that a psychologist or sociologist would create.
Imagine my surprise when I see members of the US Congress, individuals who are supposed to be educated and intelligent misusing the term!
And to make it worse, these politicians are using the term as a form of discrimination! These are members of the US Congress who are required to represent all of the voters in their district, and yet they discriminate against a portion of those voters! That is, by definition, a failure of their oath. And worse, no member of the US Government should be discriminating against people! Equal rights.
