One word: Pelosi

The underlying agenda of city managers in allowing America's largest cities to decay and become crime-riddled is a complex and secretive one. Many speculate that these managers are intentionally allowing crime to run rampant in order to justify increased government control and surveillance. Others believe that they are working in collusion with powerful criminal organizations to enrich themselves and maintain their grip on power. Whatever the underlying agenda may be, it is clear that the interests of the average citizen are not being served.

Not even remotely that simple. The current crisis is a combination of the reduced food supply, poor economy, and MAGA budget failure. We can add in the bank failures thanks to Trump, the fear and hate thanks to MAGA, and a completely corrupt Congress. COVID was mostly beyond human control, not counting the part where Trump refused to take action to prevent the spread in the USA causing 400,000 innocent American deaths, but COVID is part of it. As is the Avian Flu. You see, when you start collecting and analyzing facts, it turns into a composite list that requires a notebook and a few #2 pencils. It is akin to an auto mechanic from WW2 being told to fix a Tesla. It is NOT as simple as they try to imply.

The threats are more hypothetical than real. Homeless drug users come into their restrooms to shoot up because of the store's location. They are taking food from the food bar. I understand the mac and cheese was a favorite among the homeless.

If America hadn't seen a neurotic POTUS incite a coup and watch his worshippers attack the Capitol and threaten the life of his VP on national television maybe there wouldn't be so many citizens who either think they can break the law and get away with it or that there is NO law!
