The use of FBI "whistleblowers" who were incentivized by a Trump ally to spread lies and conspiracy theories about the events of January 6th is troubling. This undermines the credibility of those who make such claims. The Democratic report has revealed a number of social media posts, as well as connections between Trump's inner circle and these witnesses, which only serve to further discredit their accusations.
Instead of wasting taxpayer dollars on frivolous accusations, let us focus our efforts on addressing significant issues like gun violence, income inequality and climate change, which negatively impact marginalized communities.
