BOOM: Alvin Bragg’s office told Jim Jordan to take a road trip to Ohio if he wants to talk about violent crime. Today Republican Jim Jordan convened convened the House Judiciary Committee in NYC to address the crime there. Bragg’s response when he learned of the move was perfect: “In DA Bragg’s first year in office, New York City had one of the lowest murder rates of major cities in the United States (5.2) - nearly three times lower than Columbus, Ohio (15.4).” A spokesman said. “If Chairman Jordan truly cared about public safety, he could take a short drive to Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Akron, or Toledo in his home state, instead of using taxpayer dollars to travel hundreds of miles out of his way.” Bragg’s office wasn’t wrong. - Crime rates are higher in states with weaker gun laws. -A 2022 study found that permitless carry laws increase firearm homicides by 13% and firearm violent crimes by 29%. JIM JORDAN IS AN EMBARRASSMENT. He should be EXPELLED for wasting tax payer money.
