In 2016, GOP Sen. Rob Portman (OH) sponsored a bill calling for the establishment of a Center for Information Analysis and Response to expose & counter propaganda and disinformation. That certainly smacks of GOP-supported "state sponsored" targeting. @HouseDemocrats @SenateDems
