Telling half the story to make it sound as bad as possible just to flip people out. Local elections only. Permanent residents only.

A few counties allow non-citizens to vote for things like school board "Jim Jordan called me crying, groveling, begging me to go against my brother, begging me, crying for a half-hour," DiSabato said "That’s the kind of cover-up that’s going on" si.com/more-sports/2020/02/1…

The DC law: 1. Only applies to local, not Federal, elections 2. Exempts foreign nationals 3. Exempts unauthorized migrants 4. Lets tax-paying Lawful Perm Residents vote for mayor & School Board But saying all that almost sounds reasonable & Jim can't stand for reason!

If immigrants have green cards to live in and/or work in DC and pay US and social security taxes -- then they should have a say in local government. Whether they're from the South America, the UK or Canada and Zimbabwe. Taxation without representation and all that.
