One person dies from smoking almost every minute of the day… Yes, illegal fentanyl usage is bad. Very bad. But let’s not sensationalize something… oh wait, that’s all you do because you never bring bills to the floor.

I guess this -- taking drugs -- is yet another area where you do feel the government has a mandate to interfere in people's private lives? If people dying is so important to you, you should ban alcohol, cigarettes, and unhealthy foods.

A great justification for legalization and government control of drugs. Take the control away from the cartels and you get better, cleaner drugs, lots of tax revenue, and you overnight will alter the power systems that make life so hard in some places in Central America.
