You cut spending at budget negotiation, not when it’s time to honor your bills. It’s hard to take the GOP serious when the only time they’re concerned with deficits is when a Democrat is in the WH.

I get the feeling you don’t know the difference between the debt ceiling & the deficit…which is alarming in a Congressperson. What you are proposing is not paying our debts (for things already approved by Congress) & collapsing the economy…why? So you can cut Social Security?
