Democrats are the party of fiscal responsibility, running lower deficits and spending less than Republicans historically.

Debt has nothing to do with spending--where were you when the lowlife you supported cost America 7 Trillion--YOU ARE TO BLAME along with @SpeakerMcCarthy --raise the debt know or if the economy crashes, WE WILL NOT FORGET.

Republicans think America's house is too expensive and think refusing to make the mortgage payment will force us to move into a cheaper house. But all defaulting on your mortgage will do is make you lose your home & end up paying a huge risk premium on existing & future debt.

Raising the debt ceiling does NOT create new debt or cut spending. It authorizes the payment of debt already incurred. Not raising the debt limit is like refusing to pay your credit card bill. Republicans will own the disaster that happens if the ceiling isnt raised.
