No, about 1/3 of the national debt is due to the 2017 tax scam that added almost $8T to the debt. Refusing to raise the debt ceiling will trash the economy and plunge the country into a Depression.

That government spending bill hasn’t had any impact yet. The debt ceiling needs to be raised for the debt servicing on the $7T in debt added to the debt by Trump. Just the interest payments need to double, as the interest rate has doubled.
