No you just don't comprehend what was posted. Phase 4 is the XL pipeline, the previous phases is the current sections of the main Keystone pipeline. The phase 4 part, (Keystone XL), would've only moved oil to the south coast to be refined and shipped overseas.

XL would have moved 88% of its capacity from Canadian production to the gulf and 12% capacity from US Bakken wells for American consumption. #fact

Let’s not forget the fuel cost spike, runaway inflation and going from an energy independent country to buying oil from people who hate us and sending US dollars overseas instead of keeping it here. Why a pipeline vs a northern refinery is beyond my understanding.

The increase in cost of fuel has nothing to do with the pipeline. We’ve never been energy independent - 2019 we were a net exporter for the 1st time since 1945, and we will be again in 2023. We remain the largest producer in the world, but to say we are independent is naive
