The 1st Amendment prevents the GOVERNMENT from limiting speech (and there are exceptions to that). Social media, app stores, other internet hangouts are not the government. Go back to law school.
You do not mean the one that states "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"? The freedom from religion, ANY RELIGION?
The left is NOT afraid of the 1st Amendment. We are bothered you cannot distinguish government suppressing Free Speech vs a private company having a Terms of Service Agreement.
You do remember when people wrote to newspapers, not all letters were published. Still free speech
why is the right so afraid to utilize their First Amendment UNDER OATH?
Because with Republicans, it's not really about the First Amendment - it's about the ability to gaslight, spread propaganda, and outright lie without accountability
The premise of your question is ridiculous. The left has been fight for the freedom of speech longer than you have been alive They also fight against racist and antisemitic speech, something you could have done with your tweet, but you always turn your back on doing what's right.
We're not. I answered you. Please answer me.
Why does the right insist on misleading people, making them think that the First Amendment applies to private businesses?
Why does the right love to talk at every opportunity they can, except when it comes to testifying under oath?
