The United States is blowing through its strategic oil reserves faster than expected. Gas is $5 per gallon nationally. And Joe Biden STILL refuses to drill domestically.

Before the Covid-19 pandemic, U.S. oil production hit an all-time high of about 13 million barrels per day (BPD). As the pandemic unfolded, demand for oil collapsed, and production followed. By May 2020, oil production had dropped by more than 3 million BPD to 9.7 million BPD.

What refusal? We produce ONE MILLION more barrels a day of oil than we did when Biden took office. Rig count's ~doubled. 14 pipelines were completed in 2021. Biden issued more drilling permits in 2021 than Trump's first 3 yrs. Apr 2022 he issued 357, which would be 4200 per yr.

How much is stored? How much have we released since he has been in office? How much did Trump release in his time and how much over the years have presidents released and for what reasons. Stop talking to us us like we are 9 YO.

It's almost like it might be something else. Remember that price gouging bill you and the entire GOP voted against? We do.

He’s beholden to the environmentalist and they are driving his energy policy. They don’t care how much gas is. They could care less. All they care about is what they want not what’s good for the American people

You really have no idea how any of this works, do you?

This is just simply not true lol. Plus it’s a world market problem, just drilling domestically isn’t fixing the gas prices instantly. Compared to Canada or Europe our gas prices are cheap.

A single well, from drilling to production, takes about 18 months. Assuming the drilling actually strikes reserves.
