It is unfair to give an 18 y/o a gun\assault rifle and ask them to protect this country and then later say they are incapable of protecting themselves.
Of all gun murders 1% were active mass shooters, less than 3% involved rifles (including assault rifles like AR15), 59% were pistols, and the rest others guns like shotguns.
Does anyone really believe this is about assault rifles? This is step 1 to disarm America.
There are 45k deaths each year by guns, 54% are suicide, 43% murder or roughly 19k, 4.3k are children.
800k unborn children are killed by abortion every year …. Over 4K every 2 days.
