I don't understand you Jimmie, you want to be Energy independent but it cost a lot to be that way. Oil Prices have to stay at today's prices to even break even to get out of the ground. The Tar Sands is junk crude that we don't want refined in Texas because of the pollution!

A yr ago today gas was 1.97 here in Florida. Now it’s 3.35..I can only imagine what it is in other states

You know what would decrease gas prices? Decrease demand by investing in renewable energy and energy conservation, but of course your against that. Basic supply and demand, if you decrease demand then prices drop.
