Gym, you could actually read the article. It stated the viruses are to be studied so we can react faster and smarter when a similar one hits the population. Btw how many outbreaks have their been from labs in the US? Virtually none.

That ban was put into place by Obama in 2014. Trump and the GOP did everything they could to lift any bans he put in place to protect us.
