I think we should leave this in the hands of private businesses. They should be allowed to mandate their employees be vaccinated, and they should be allowed to mandate that their customers be vaccinated. Vaccination status is not a protected class.

Are you ever going to do something to help the good people of Ohio? How about supporting the infrastructure and reconciliation bills to make their lives better by creating jobs, childcare so parents can work, healthcare so people can live and work, education to move forward.

The choice is up to the individual. But businesses and other entities also have the right not to serve those who aren't vaccinated. Unlike when one discriminates based on skin color, or LGBT, this is truly based on a choice the individual makes, not what they're born with.
