Fact: At the time Obama made that statement, it was true. It became untrue when Governors refused to cover fees on the uninsured and have medicaid expansion. Which allowed low income families to qualify on income alone.

People that lost their Dr and/or insurance was due to quality of insurance. ACA raised the bar (it needed to be raised) on what you got for your money and their Dr chose not to accept ACA coverage. The resurgence of covid changed the playing field.
