A year ago New Yorkers were banging pots and pans to salute Nurses at the end of their covid shifts. Now they’re calling on them to be fired for not taking a vaccine for a virus they fought on the front lines. What a disgusting group of politically transactional ingrates.

This is not just “you’re fired.” It’s be vaccinated or be fired OR be tested weekly. You have left out the last part. Vaccination protects you & OTHERS around you. Nurses, doctors, medical personnel know this & have had to make educated decisions accordingly.. . .

. . . Businesses, govt workers, med personnel, fire, police, TSA, etc etc — all have close contact with others. COVID highly transmissible, people putting people at risk. We need to protect each other from illness & death. This is part of a being in a society. . . .

2020: There was no vaccine. 2021: The vaccine is safe, effective and free. The last thing anyone needs is to be sick, lying in a hospital bed, and have a Covid-infected doctor or nurse come take care of you.
