This has ended in many states already, and will end soon for any others. In our state, MO, it had very little effect on employment figures.

Thats what happens when companies dont pay line employees livable wages. Corporate greed is the problem… They value investors more than the workers who make the money for the company. 👎🏼

People had to figure out how to earn money during the pandemic and the majority of them realized they were making more money on their own than the slave wages employers pay! They learned their worth and won’t except less than what the deserve! Raise wages folks will work!

Let’s try again. How about: when you don’t pay people a living wage, they will no longer risk their life going to work at a job that doesn’t pay to feed their kids.

This is a pretty tired talking point Jim. Extra stimulus expired. Spiking Covid cases, work place safety concerns, the cost of child care, low wages are all factors, as well as the political rift over vaccinations & masks draws lines in the labor market
