Not really considering Carter was the one who first supplied hundreds of millions worth of weaponry to the Afghan "fighters" to use against Russia when we were in the Cold War. Fast forward and those "fighters" became the Taliban of today. Once again, supplied with USA weapons.

That was the Mohajadien (sp) not the Taliban. The Taliban fought the Mohaja... later. But having lived through Carter, as anyone alive then will tell you, I was clearly joking.
