The Administration doesn't want to its part of their climate change plan. Make cheap fossil fuels expensive so solar and wind become fiascially viable.

Dems voted for this...Elections have consequences and this is "just one" of the many things that will find themselves over-paying to empty their (and everyone else) pockets. High fuel costs affect more than just cars.
